Girls Retain Eastern U-13 A Trophy
Portlaw N.S. 2-1 Glór na Mara 1-0
Our girls retained the U-13A trophy when they
defeated Glór na Mara in a hard fought game in Walsh Pk. on Wednesday June 7th.
Despite creating numerous chances the girls were a goal down at half time.
However all changed in the second half, when Siobhán Whelan equalised with a
stunning goal. Zoe O'Donoghue, fresh from her Primary game in Cork, scored 1-1
to give our girls a deserved win.
