After a long search we have finally arrived at a new school crest. The centre
piece is the old cotton mill. The cotton mill and the influence of the
Malcolmson family are well recognised. Information on the family is available
elsewhere on the site.
The book reflects the acedemic progress of the pupils.
The boy and girl reflects the importance of sport of all kind to the pupils.
