A special welcome to our new pupils. Since Easter we have had seven new pupils,
which is unusual for this term. Another unusual feature is the origion of our
pupils. Paul is from Canada, Greta is from Hungary, Tobias is from Germany, Jake
& Shannen are from Manchester. All firsts for the school. Sam &
Grace are from Waterford !!! Welcome to all our new pupils and I hope their stay
in Portlaw NS will be a happy one.
Tokens
Thank you to everyone who helped us reach our targets in the Tesco and Irish
Independent collections.
We did really well in the Tesco tokens and reached our target of 21,300. We will
now order a computer for one of the classrooms.
We also reached our target in the Irish Independent collection. We will now
receive a tv/dvd. We can now enter the project, which is Our Local Heritage. Ms
Doris and her class are busy preparing this project. Watch this space!!
